The one below was taken at DollyWood while Katherine and I were riding on the Tennessee Tornado roller coaster.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mialkowski.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/08\/20080626.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-47\" title=\"Tennessee Tornado at DollyWood\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mialkowski.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/08\/20080626-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Tennessee Tornado at DollyWood\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>And then the one below was taken in Pigeon Forge on some kiddie ride:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.mialkowski.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/08\/100_1866.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignnone size-thumbnail wp-image-48\" title=\"Kiddie Ride in Pigeon Forge\" src=\"http:\/\/www.mialkowski.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/08\/100_1866-150x150.jpg\" alt=\"Kiddie Ride in Pigeon Forge\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>We sure had fun up there in the Great Smoky Mountains. Since we had cabins, we grilled out like every day. For the trip up I bought a cassette adapter that one end you stick into a cassette deck in your car and the other end fits into your MP3 player. It worked, but the Volvo rattles and roars so much that you couldn&#8217;t really enjoy the audio books and short stories that I had piled onto it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Oops, I forgot to add in two great pictures from the Gatlinburg vacation.
